What drives Ron?

My name is Kiplangat Ronny. I'm an aspiring software developer and system librarian. I am a recent graduate of Technical University of Mombasa having pursued and completed a course in Bachelor of Library and Information Science. My passion for Software Engineering and especially the Front-End Development, Mobile app Development & Web Development was sparked through my course once I got to actually practice library and information science as profession. Initially, as volunteer library assistant, I got to learn basics of Web Design and in particular, how to develop a library management system for an academic library and maintaining the college's website(the library interface in particular), integrating and updating new features to it. Followed was during my industrial attachment, where I got to interact and equip myself with skills and database management and archives management, also network systems installation. Luckily, once I was done with campus, I got the chance to improve and sharpen my skills in software development further through a Software Engineering Scholarship Program courtesy of Power Learn Project-Africa(PLP-Africa). Being the best systems librarian in the country is my long term goal and that's what motivates me every single day and I hope to achieve my goal through my hardwork and focus.
